ASE Certified ADAS Calibration Service Center

ADAS calibration (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems calibration) is the process of recalibrating a vehicles safety sensors and cameras so they work correctly after repairs, replacements, or certain maintenance tasks.

Modern vehicles have ADAS features like:

  • Lane departure warning
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Forward collision warning
  • Blind-spot monitoring
  • Automatic emergency braking

These systems rely on cameras, radars, LIDAR, and ultrasonic sensors mounted around the vehicle. If a windshield, bumper, sensor, or camera is replaced—or even if there’s been an accident, alignment change, or suspension repair—the sensors may no longer point in the right direction.

👉 Calibration ensures those sensors are precisely aligned with the vehicle’s geometry and road, so the ADAS features give accurate readings and respond correctly. There are two main types:

  1. Static Calibration – Done in a controlled workshop with special targets, patterns, or equipment.
  2. Dynamic Calibration – Requires driving the vehicle at specific speeds on well-marked roads so the system can self-adjust.

When do you need ADAS calibration?

  • After Windshield Replacement
  • After Collision or Bumper Repair
  • After Suspension or Wheel Alignment Service
  • Anytime a Camera or Sensor is removed or replaced
